I have a DDJ 1000 and I'm using the latest Rekordbox software. I wanted to know how can I record set without the mic?

You can actually record from the software if you are using music you own. You aren't able to record using streaming services though. I bought an Evermixbox 4 and it records everything perfectly no matter streaming or owned music
have you tried turning the mic off?
just kidding. if you don't want to record the mic, you will have to route the main audio output of your DDJ-1000 into an external mixer and put your mic in that to mix it in.
