Hello everyone,
3 days ago I installed the newest Mac firmware for the DDJ-1000, 1.12. I also installed 3.0.0 audio driver on Feb. 4th since I have Big Sur. My initial issue I had was after I installed Big Sur in November (unaware there would be issues in doing so), which is as the title states, my jog wheel displays were lagging. Every time I paused a track or played one after about 2 seconds the display would react to me pausing or playing where the track time would start counting down, and general animations. It was also sporadic at that time.
As of installing the newest firmware the lag is constant and worse than before. Now my hot cue points won't show for several minutes after having that track loaded, same for any album art, the waveform does the same. The same issue persists with pausing and playing a track.
When first loading up Rekordbox and turning on the DDJ-1000 when I switch decks to 3 and 4, there's a loading process where I'll get the little wheel spinning on the display and I can't use that deck until it's finished it's load process, which has taken several minutes at times. So I updated to Rekordbox 6.5.1 hoping the issue would be corrected, and there's been no change. I'm also noticing there's now an occasional audio crackling & a digital type of sound (it's hard to explain).
I'm also using the Macbook Air 13 which I've had since 2015, I'm not sure if that is affecting any of this.
My point to all of this is, is there anyone that can help me, and anyone that can offer assistance on correcting my existing issues?
Thank you.
