DDJ ERGO - Low sound level of headphones after firmware update

After I updated the device for the latest firmware the maximum level of the headphone output is quite low. Originally I found the first FM version in the device, and the max volume was quite loud, but after the update, it is too low.

Also the official ASIO driver wasnt installed, so I dont know what cause this volume loss

Any solution for this? I don't wanna downgrade the device, also i wouldn't buy an external headphone amp.

Thanks !

Those headphones are 62ohm impedance - I'd suggest that's likely why you're having lower than expected volume from the headphone output on a device which is USB bus-powered. It simply can't deliver enough power to make those headphones sound as loud as you'd expect.

Please try a lower impedance headphone, or a controller which has wall power to deliver a louder headphone output.

I used the same headphone before the FM update, and it was loud enough. I will try to connect the device to another USB port, and I will check through them. I will update the issue

The firmware would not change the audio output levels for the headphones, and trying another USB port will not increase the power delivery.

False alert, sorry, my fault! In WASAPI  "Shared Mode " or "Exclusive Mode" (I dont remember which one) is producing the lower volume problem, with the ASIO SW and one of them from the mentioned ones is loud enough. Sorry that you had to deal with this!
