I've asked this question before, but I'm going to re-ask in case someone else can give me an answer.

I spend countless hours tediously making sure that my tags on MusicBee have a large quantity of genres. I often use two or more genres seperated by a semicolon.  However, Rekordbox overwrites the genre tags. How can I turn this feature off? Please! I'd gander to say that 90% of music doesn't fit square in one genre, why have this feature of removing punctuation in the first place?

I received an answer in my previous thread, but they stated that Rekordbox doesn't support multiple genres. Ultimately, the question is - how can I prevent Rekordbox from overwriting my tags?

rekordbox does not support multiple genre tags. I would recommend using the comment field or the MyTag function within rekordbox for that purpose.

OP i have always used a comma when i am adding multiple Genres/Styles to the Genre Tag, example

Drum & Bass, Jazzy

Techno, Dub, Minimal

I have done this for Years in Foobar long before the Comment section really became a thing and it shows in all software and is searchable ect.

Maybe using the Comment section is better for Rekordbox, i don't know i am new to Rekordbox but just putting it out there using comma in Genre works well as an option :)
