ddj sb3 cannot scratch using the crossfader with the job whell

Hello and visit the translator since the English language is not my native one. I recently purchased an sb3 ddj and am a newbie to scratching. I can't scratch using the crossfader and the job at the same time. the crossfader only works as a fader between one channel and another. i am using serato dj pro and virtual dj ,. I need to know what to configure (I already set the crossfader curve to the maximum in serato even so I can't do the scratch effect)
