Rekordbox Art Resolution

Hi,

I'm dragging in art of 3024 * 3024 or 600 * 600, but it looks blocky / low quality in RB. What resolution does it display as? Can this be changed? Looking around I can't find anything. This will be exported to a cdj-3000.

Many thanks, in advance

Nick..

Hi Nick.
I got 2x CDJ-3000. The Artworks I am using are either 600x600 or 800x800 pixel. When exporting to a USB drive I got 2 Artworks per track with RB6. One is in 80x80 which I believe is because of compatibility to older hardware. i.e. my old XDJ-1000mk1 were using 80x80 Artwork.
The second Artwork on the USB device is 240x240. So I believe the CDJ-3000 or other newer hardware is using 240x240 Artwork.
When looking to them on the CDJ-3000 they are looking pretty good - don't show low quality or blocky. Are you sure your source Artwork is ok? If you have a low quality picture rendered to 600x600 or 3024x3024 and shrink it back to 240x240 it won't look good. Just in case...

Ok thanks. Yeah my artwork is fine in windows and mp3tag etc. How does your artwork look in rekordbox for your 800 x 800? Is it displayed as 80 x 80 in rekordbox?

Where do you look in rekordbox? In the Info window under picture? It doesn't indicate the resolution of the picture there.
Some look a bit blury there, might indicate a lower resolution.

When looking to the Master DB rekordbox is using, I can see 3 copies of the Artwork. One in original size from the tag in the file, one with 240x240 and one with 80x80. Not sure which one rekordbox is using to display in the DB itself.

I'm looking on the RHS of the screen in the artwork section in rekordbox. Where is the masterDB stored or where in the preferences points at this, thanks.
