Intermittent connectivity issues with Link Export mode on CDJ2000NXS2

Hello,

I'm using Rekordbox 5.8.6 Windows 10  and using CDJ2000NXS2 with V 1.85 firmware.  I've had link export working over ethernet just fine for a few months but just recently I started having connection issues.   I never made any changes to the PC or the network however I did recently upgrade the cdjs from 1.84 to 1.85. Can't remember if it worked before on me while in 1.85.

So normally, I open Rekordbox, Turn on the CDJs, check Export mode of RB for "Link" button at bottom left and click it.   Pictures of 2 players show up at the bottom center of the screen.     Access library on CDJ by pressing "rekordbox" button.

So now,  after I click the LINK button in RB, it connects but I only get the left hand bar showing "1 LINK/master/120bpm" The 2 player logos do not show up.

When i press "rekordbox" button on CDJ, I get error message on the cdj "Library not Responding"

Friday it mysteriously started working properly again and I played a set as usual   The next time I went to use it on Sunday, same thing wouldn't connect. Tried about 10 different times.

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled Rekordbox numerous times. I've checked firewall permissions in windows 10.  I wonder if something changed in my router thats blocking it?  Could something on my PC be corrupted somehow in my library?

Any ideas?

Windows is brutal with regards to the firewall - every new version of an application has to be allowed through or have new rules created. I'd recommend running the following file:

C:\Program Files\Pioneer\rekordbox 6.5.1\updatefwrule.bat

Right-click and run as administrator, that will update all the firewall rules for your current configuration.

It could have been you only had a couple of the 4 (total) rules required, so it looked like it would connect, but didn't.

Also, for further troubleshooting, try connecting one CDJ directly to the computer and if that works, the trouble point is elsewhere.
