DDJ1000 with MAC BIG SUR 11.4

Hi Guys,

Can someone please advise how to fix this issue. Recently, my macOS Big Sur was updated to 11.4. Since then I am having problem with my DDJ1000. On Jog wheel, I get 'NO AUDIO DRIVER', moment I connect my Laptop to the Controller.

I have done following numerous time

a. Un-install Audio Driver

b. Re-Install Audio Driver as per Pioneer website, unfortunately I don't get any prompt in Security preference to Allow

I am at complete loss, running out of ideas. Hope someone can help me.

I've been trying to track this in 11.4, but it seems it's really only a problem with the background task.

If you open the DDJ-1000 Driver Version Display Utility it will change the jog message as it "wakes" the drivers. Normally that's done automatically if you have the monitor task running, but it looks like 11.4 might have broken it.

Either way, that's the work-around I'll recommend for you.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I have noticed one more thing. When I restart my laptop and open Rekordbox, I can't see DDJ1000 in Audio Output. I have to click on Driver and reinstall DDJ1000 and then it appears. Can you please advise on this.

See if it appears after the DDJ is connected and you launch the Version Display Utility.

I did following
a. Restarted my Laptop.
b. As expected, NO DRIVER ON JOG wheel appeared.
c. Launched version display utility.
d. I can see the track loaded and display on Jig Wheel.
e. However, when I play music, sound is outputted from Laptop speaker.
d. If I go to preference, then Audio. DDJ1000 is not listed.
e. I had to click on Driver, install the DDJ1000 package and then it appears in in the drop down.

Can this be resolved?

I have exactly the same problem...

Both with my DDJ-1000srt & XDJ-XZ.

I'm also on MacOS 11.4 (16" 2019 MBP)

I need to keep reinstalling the driver everytime I restart my Mac.
