Rekordbox iOS Mobile Sync (not cloud sync) not connecting

I have a Win10 Del XPS with Rekordbox 6.2 and an iPhone11 Pro with the free subscription to Rekordbox. Mobile Sync is not seeing my iPhone which is on the same network as the laptop. I have turned off all firewalls, logged on with the same email address and even tried uninstalling the app and rebuilding the library on my laptop and when I hit the search mobile and put my iPhone into 'Connect to rekordbox (Mac/Win)" mode, the laptop does not see any devices. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Matt,

Are both devices on WiFi, or is the computer hardwired?

They are both on Wifi. My network also is open and doesn't have any network sniffers or third party anti-virus installed

What does RB show when you click on Search Mobile? Check your Iphone wireless settings and verify it is on the same network as the laptop.

It shows nothing. I am 150% following all the correct instructions. 150% no network issues and I am on the latest updates for the iPhone and Rekordbox OS on my WIndows machine and phone. There seems to be no logical reason why this isnt working.

I really hate to blow up Pioneer but I am super dissappointed with the technical support I have always received with your software. I actually work for niche software company and ran the technical support department for 6 years. The last thing I want to do is piss anyone off because I know these things are difficult to solve sometimes.

Alas, once again Pioneer has created a product that they cannot support therefore it is not commercially ready. I have always told my customers, a great product with bad support can be a horrible product but a mediocre product with great support can be a great product.

I really hope for better competition in the industry so they don't sit on their high horse for awhile. I really would feel better giving my money to company that takes care of who has given them revenue. D minus grade on support Pioneer. Guess I will give up on this fight and just rumor mill my experience with my network in Detroit.

Matt,

I'm sorry we haven't gotten back to you - I was having the same conversation you are with our team in Japan on your ticket (237468). It's currently open with our top product engineers and they will help get you a solution. Thanks for your patience.

I think I may have found the issue. I am using a wifi router brand name eero (amazon mfgs this) and it doesn't seem to like Rekordbox. I tried it on my friends eero network as well with no success. It works with other peoples netgear and linksys. I just bought a new wifi router and am waiting for it to arrive. If you want, I can send you the eero router to test in case more people have the issue. I will trade you for a DJM V10????? haaha.

I will let you know when I test the new router.

Yeah, that's the likely problem - many routers block unrecognized traffic, and Pro DJ Link data certainly isn't your typical network data.
