Hey everyone,
I just upgraded to a new HP laptop with Windows 10 and an i7 processor.
I've installed rekordbox (updated drivers and firmware) and can use the software to Dj via my laptop. Whenever I plug in my DDJ-800, the PC recognizes the controller, but I can't control rekordbox. When I power off my 800, I get the red notification at the bottom of the rekordbox software that says "DDJ-800 is disconnected" so rekordbox knows it's there. I can control the software with my PC, but not my controller.
The jog wheel LEDs are both on. The left says Pioneer DJ and the right says rekordbox. When I reboot the 800, I get the little spinny (thinking) wheel, but then nothing happens.
I updated the drivers and the firmware to the most recent versions. I've tried plugging it into a different USB.
I reached out to support and they believe there are compatibility issues with the 11th Intel i7 CPU. They said that others have experienced this problem and Dell has a solution, but HP does not.
They suggested updating the Realtek Audio Driver from HP. They also suggested potentially downgrading the audio driver to a previous version.
Has anyone had this issue with a new computer? Were there any solutions that worked?
