The limitation is it doesn't have more than 8 beats buffered; when you press it once, it loads the next 8 instantly, but it can't keep 16 or 32 buffered.

XDJ-XZ Beatjump?
I recently purchased an XDJ XZ. Is there a way to beatjumps more than 8 beats at a time?
Please don't say it's a limitation of the hardware because you can hit the 8 beat button repeatedly to move more than 8 beats at a time.

So, the unit is able to remove the data for the previous 8 beats from memory then add the data for the next 8 beats into memory within 40ms correct?
If so, it could also have the time to seek and write the data into memory for 16 and 32 beat operations as well. Otherwise, I'd be worried about how memory management is handled on the unit.

It doesn't have the capacity to store that much memory. Sorry, this is not a technical feature which is up for discussion unfortunately. If it were possible, they would have already done it. Thanks for your feedback.
