no output from speakers in performance mode rekordbox

hi i have a pioneer dj rx2 and everything works fine in export mode with usb, but when i connect my laptop and try to stream music i log into soundcloud and everything loads fine but when i play a song it plays through my laptop speakers and everything ive seen and tried doesnt work any suggestions??

Are you trying to use your RX2 as your computer's audio interface? If that's the case, open the sound panel and assign the RX2 as the output, but be aware that you'll need to switch it back to the normal default (Realtek or other internal audio device) before going to use rekordbox again.
