Rekordbox Android low volume

The output volume in Rekordbox 3.0.1.1 on Android (also with previous versions) is about 30% lower than any other media players on Android. This is so for Bluetooth and wired headphones 🎧. I ran through all the audio settings on Android and it appears to be a specific Rekordbox issue.

Good news - the volume issue will be addressed in a future update! Thanks for your patience.

What version of Android OS and what device are you using? So far I haven't noticed it's any different than other media apps...?

I'm running Android 10 (10 QKQ1.190825.002) with ASPL 2021-02-01
On a Xiaomi MI 9T PRO (MIUI Global 12.0.5 Stable)

What can I do to help find the cause of the issue so it can be solved? I really  starting to like using RekordBox on the Android for preparation.

PS: Audio is also lower when using just the build-in smartphone speaker.

It's low for me also.  Pixel 4 XL.

If you tag and sort all your files.. the Phone app is  a Game changer!

Great to hear increasing the volume is under development. I too have issues with really low volume using the Android Rekordbox app.

Android 9 - Samsung S8

Thank you for this!

I'm having the same issue, still not fixed 6 months since OP... @Pulse any chance of getting this bumped to the top of the list devs list? Its pretty essential to be able to hear the music

I had this problem with my old Samsung S10+, on my older Galaxy Tab A on Android V8 and now I changed to the S20 on Android V12 and still have the same issue. We are talking about something like -10 dB here so every other app seems to be twice as loud.
It's very kind that you guys want to keep our ears in good shape, but this might be a bit much. ;)
Is there anything we can submit, if the support doesn't have the same issue? Looking forward to help!

Hi Pulse,

It's been a little more than a year ago that you informed us that it would be addressed in "future update".

Several "future updates" has come and gone. But the issues remained unsolved.

Any chances of just giving us a "trim/gain" control in the app so we can  adjust the volume level ourselves?

Sorry, they're working on some things now - I'll make sure they address the overall volume level if possible.

Hi.. any status on the very low volume level issue on the Rekorrdbox mobile app for Android. It makes paying for a Rekordbox Subscription very unlikely, when you have to listen with very low volume in the mobile version of Rekordbox. Since I see no benefit especially using the mobile app if you can't actually hear what you're doing. I appreciate any assistance with this ongoing issue!
