Quit midi mode and ask with the (xdj-rx2, Interface 2, Rekordbox)

Good Morning Can you somehow get rekordbox out of midi controller mode without having to restart it? The following scenario: I own an rx2 controller and connect it to rekordbox, so far so good. But I also have an interface 2 and if I want to play vinyl, I switch the sound output to interface 2 in rekordbox. The problem is that no sound comes out because rekordbox is still in midi mode. I'll describe a scene. A dj here with me plays tracks in midi mode with the rx2 from rekordbox. Now I come to the change and want to play vinyl with the interface and control.
Then you have to choose a track from usb to avoid a musical break and restart rekordbox. Only then does the white midi mode lamp go out and turn gray. This is the only way that rekordbox spits out a sound. There is no point in changing the driver or the sound output settings.

The next question is: A moderator has published a video on youtube and shows that waveform and pad control is possible, but it is not explained exactly how he connected it. can someone help me? link to the video:

Mihajlo,

The RX2 and IF2 are not intended for simultaneous use. In that video I demonstrated that the can be used together, but there are some limitations in how things work; I also note that because rekordbox can only access one audio device, the inputs can't be switched. Effectively, the RX2 can control some functions but the overall deck manipulation is from the DVS input.

1.) ok i understand. but how did you do it? can you describe it

2.) So it is so that I always have to close Rekordbox to get out of the midi mode.
Do I understand this in the right manner?

3.) can ich achieve something with asio4all?

All that was done was both devices were connected and the IF2 was selected as the audio interface. I'm sorry, I will not be providing instructions on assigning both devices through ASIO4ALL.

No need to configure MIDI for anything as the RX2 would still perform its functions.
