Official comment
The slide is just a parameter control; you can still adjust the volume in the software or by using another MIDI mapped control for it, such as from the SP1.

How can I limit the slide FX volume on the XP1 (and or XP2)
There are no knobs on it like the DDJ-SP1.
But can I midi map it to a knob on the DJ controller that is also in the setup? I cannot cross link midi between the two devices?

How can you do this? I have a DDJ ergo with a knob available. How kan I assign it as volume knob for the slider effects?
