When you installed the drivers, did you follow the instructions here?
MacBook Pro M1 16GB Big Sur 11.1
Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 (2.07) listed in Audio-Midi-Setup
2x Pioneer XDJ-1000MK2 (1.42) all 2 listed in Audio-Midi-Setup
BELKIN Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro (4x USB Pioneer connected)
Software installation and Driver for DJM was successful (Security settings observed)
Rekordbox 6.5.1 select DJM900 for Audio Interface = OK
set my 2 XDJ1000 LINK -> USB MIDI to Channels 1 and 2
I (have to) play in Performance Mode. Sometimes after few Minutes, sometimes after about 30 minutes I get following errors on all 2 XDJ:
these Errors (and more) occur sometimes few minutes, sometimes after about 30 minutes start playing
- no Waveform or needs few Minutes to show after selecting Audiofile
- Jog-Wheel, Pitch etc no function
- Play/Stop works to Rekordbox but Display XDJ show playing
- Scroll Audiofile on XDJ no function on XDJ Display (on Laptop scrolls)
- Push Button for select Audiofile - no function
... and many more
The communication between XDJs and Rekordbox failed more and more after x minutes !
Further interesting identification ...
I stop playing after all works fine (leave system active) - start playing again after 30 minutes, get the errors as described (!) ??? WHY ???
Other Problem, there are sometimes digital "Noises" in Audio. I found a description to increase the buffer size. There I have to ask ... WHY ???
MacBook Pro M1 ist one of the fastest in Moment, I played with 2018 MacBookPro WITHOUT any Problems with Audio without increase Buffer size (!)
Sorry but it seems, Pioneer/Rekordbox team haven't done their "homework" for the update to Big Sur and/or M1,
it is not recommended to use Rekordbox with Pioneer DJ Hardware and M1 Big Sur for now.
Any idea to fix the problem ???
regards, Christian

Hi, yes I did. audio driver is correctly recognized. The audio driver is not the problem, because DJM900 works. If I increase buffer size there are no "additional noises". the midi in/to the two xdj is the problem. But in Audio-Midi-Setup looks all fine
tried without djm900 (XDJ as audio interace), same problems with midi communication with XDJ as described
I heard, maybe problem with Big Sur 11.1 - will update to 11.3 and let you know
Yeah -- if you're not at 11.2 or newer, it won't work. ;)
I have to apologize, everything works fine now -> Big Sur 11.3.1
Thank you (!), christian
