DJM900NXS2 not playing laptop

Having an issue with laptop pc sending sound into mixer.
I just bought the mixer last week. I plugged in my laptop into usb A and B and no signal went through and the usb A/B light just kept blinking. So...
I updated firmware and drivers.
It connected, solid green light at the usb A in this case, i tried B later same result.
But, when i played a youtube video or itunes, cause im also using this mixer as a soundcard as a music playing source, itunes does nothing when i press play, youtube also does nothing, when i press play, it just has the loading circle idle. Now when i unplug the usb connection itunes and youtube will start to play sound out of the laptop itself.
So....
I went into my laptop soundsettings to check if it was sending sound to the mixer, when plugged in, and it was. Still no sound.
I checked the mixers setting utility and it also says connected.
Can anyone tell me what could be happening here?
