Please help

Hi all,

I have recently ventured out and bought a new DJM250-MK2 to use with Rekordbox and some midi controllers (not running DVS) just for a bedroom setup.

Everything has been great, but I have an issue that I can't seem to resolve.

I'm unsure if it's a problem with the DJM mixer or the tablet I am using..

Every 5 or 10 minutes I seems to get a tick/jump in the audio which is quite annoying (I have a video but dont think I can attach to this post).

I've played around with buffer and latency but havent been able to fix it.

It seems to occur when I have a few tracks loaded up.

The specs of the tablet I am using are below -

Can anyone shed some light on why this issue may be happening? I'm aware the tablet isnt highly spec'd so could this be the issue?

Any help or advice appreciated.

1) Get any available updates for your notebook from the HP product support page, including the BIOS.

2) Grab any available Windows updates (but don't upgrade to Windows 11 if you're still on 10).

3) Disable any unnecessary background tasks or applications which may be consuming system resources. Check both the startup list and the services list. Open the activity monitor to see what else may be using resources to determine if anything else can be disabled.

4) Try disabling the Intel Turbo Boost (Google it, there's a few different ways) as that could be kicking in and causing audio interrupts.

1) I think I'm fully updated.

2) I'm currently running Win 11, not Win 10. Do you believe this could be an issue?

3) I have done this but will keep on top of this.

4) I'll investigate further.

Win11 shouldn't be the issue, but check into the other things.
