@ Lucas Grazziotin > What do you mean that you wish you were told a week earlier? This thread before that and has been available online the entire time... If you mean you wish you were specifically notified about the issue, I'm not sure how Pioneer can notify any of us since they do not have all of us users e-mails and information. The only way to be notified about this is for you to do your research before buying products. I'm not trying to be rude here, but this thread was available long before a week ago.
@ Mattia > I'm sorry to hear about the way you're feeling about your DJM-900 mate. I hope the fix comes soon so you don't feel you must part with your 900 because it's an incredible mixer and I love mine!! I believe the reason the update is taking longer is because the update to record properly with Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8 is also a major issue in Lion along with others. Therefore the future release should hopefully address the OS X 10.6.8 recording issue as well as the Lion problems.
@ Slipcase > Are you using the 900 with Traktor and assigning functions? If not, how do you have your 900 set up?
Pulse is right guys, I'm pretty sure the engineers are working hard to get this solved for everyone, and Pioneer is not the only company to still be completing compatible updates at this time, and it shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone if you're familiar with using many types of music software and switching to a new OS version. My guess is that most of the users here and people having troubles might be fairly new to the scene of having to run software to make it compatible with your hardware. (ie. Am I wrong to think most of these Mac users have only ever used Snow Leopard as their Mac OS?... Just a guess) Aside from that, for those who are new to switching Operating Systems and using audio software, it is extremely essential to research that the updates are compatible with everything you use; or as much as you can confirm, before you complete the update. I had this issue way back when I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard and I learned my lesson from that. No one had an update for my stuff for a couple months and it really sucked! As I'm sure you guys feel you're in the same position right now.
Anyways, I hope this helps with doing a bit of research before doing major updates in the future, and I wish you guys luck that the release is soon.
