switch the pot from channel 1 to channel 2 and from 2 to 1 and see if the problem follows over to 1, if it does, then it's a bad fader/pot

possible death potmeter?
So yeah...
My gain on my DJM-800 is fully turned down and the leds still go into orange and red.
The gain is in the 7 o'clock position and the led's shoot into the orange , Though it's only channel two when i plug the cdj into another channel everything is fine.

after re-reading, I realized you may mean the gain at the top of each channel, if thats the case, you cant do my suggestion obviously, better off bringing it to a local repair shop

make sure you are not pluged in to the PHONO on that channel.

If you don't have a line signal into a phono input (as @john suggests), it could well be that the gain pot is shot and needs repair. There is a list of tech support contacts to the right of every page - they can direct you to a certified repair shop.
