Looking at upgrading my setup. For sure want cdj-2000's but am wondering what mixer to get. Im stretching my cash enough for the cdj's so im looking to save money on the mixer if i can. Im debating between the djm-700, 800, 850, 900nexus. The main thing that i am unsure of is the link on the 900. What does this let me do on the 2000's that the other mixers wont? I thought i plug the cdj's into each other not the mixer? I will only have 2 decks so is this something i wont use, if so im thinking the 800 or 850 will be good.

in a nutshell Link allows you to plug in 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - cdjs and up to 2 laptops and play from your laptop / while it is not a dvs like traktor / serato you can drag tunes from your laptop to the players
bah no edit, i forgot to add you can do this with a switch and with the 2000 and nexus you can quantize your effects.
