[SOLVED] why is my DJM 2000 going into sleep mode????

my DjM2000 when i'm playing it keeps going into sleep mode...why???

hey guys this system which i brought just under 2 years ago should not be giving me grief as of yet....do you know if there is a problem with the slweep mode kicking in while one is playing on them??

could a mic lead do this to the mixer and if so why?????.....i've taken out the mic lead and now it seems to work without going into sleep mode

it's in the club setting, that usually is an area pre mixer "boot up" so you should be fine to make that change

soon as i power up the mixer...it goes into sleep mode allowing me to do nothing.....

im not home to check but look in the manual, to get into the club setting you usually have to shut off the mixer and then hold down a button on the mixer while it powers up, it then goes into a pre boot hidden setting menu

do you by chance have the url as not sure i'm finding the right on...And do you know if the firware on the djm2000 works ok with recordbox 1.5.4 ok?

can't do the software as it won't work on my laptop for R/B as i think my laptop is a bit old now to handle R/B

i'm starting to think it might be a power supply issue rather a software problem as the reason it would power down so quickly ...what you think???

absolutely, if you cant get it to even power on, most likely thats what it is or a faulty board causing the mixer to immediately go into a protect state

it does power up, but only for about 10 seconds

Definitely call it in, maybe theres a local authorized repair place by you too. The number is at the top right of the page

I had an issue where my DJM-2000 wouldn't boot up as well.  It was definitely a Power supply issue.  I sent the unit to their HQ in California and they fixed it under my warranty.  Much quicker than anticipated too.
