DDJ ERGO Questions....

However, I know there is a difference between the standard edition that comes with the DDJ-ERGO and the Pro version that's available for purchase. This could be the reason you cannot locate the different effects, because they might be different versions of the software. Also, Virtual DJ has many plug-ins available and the Pro version can use any VST plug-ins but with "PC" only right now. They will most likely be implementing it for Mac, but will be in a future update. Mac doesn't have as many VST's as PC does though just to clarify that now.

As for using it as a normal sound card or to control another software, yes you can map it to another app but you will probably need to do it all yourself, so I hope you're good with mapping things.

Hopefully someone else can shed a bit more light on everything as I just noticed you haven't had a response yet, but I don't use or follow Virtual DJ much.

That will be a nice Xmas gift by the way. ;)

Sounds more to me like an issue between LE and Pro.

I just purchased an ERGO recently and noticed whichever PULSE MODE I select, the LEFT LEDs always spin blue regardless of weather there is a track loaded. Also, how do I rebuild/re-analyze my library on a Mac? Every track I play changes from a normal icon to a broken file icon. I know these files work fine because Serato reads them. I wish I could send you a video of the problems.

I updated ERGO firmware to 1.10

I have the latest OSX update

My RAM on my Mac book is maxed out.

I am using an external firewire drive as my library.

Sorry, forgot to mention the RED LEDs on the left side constantly spin COUNTERCLOCKWISE all the time. Idle, playing a track, empty with no track loaded, etc.

@xhift > You've got your filter enabled; set it to the 12 o'clock position and that will stop.

As for the library -- what software are you using?

the library? I'm using Virtual DJ LE that came with the ERGO. Thanks for the help with the filter. I'm an idiot.

I just loaded a small batch of mp3s onto a separate HD and they all still turn out broken after being played once. I can't get two songs to mix since they sound corrupted. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

@xhift > Sounds like a setup problem in the audio settings (seeing as your audio tracks work fine in every other player).

could you recommend how I should adjust the audio settings?

I can't find the 8 or so samples that came with Virtual DJ LE please help..It was working before but had to reinstall the software and now I can't find them  

If you reinstalled, the samples should have reinstalled as well.

@Pulse - how do I adjust the buffer? where is the control for it? Is it in the VDJ program or do I have to adjust settings on my Mac?
