Hi,I have one problem before 7 days i have advent when i finish i was packed my ergo and laptop.When When I came to home I I saw that I do not have the cable which connects controller and a laptop.Next day I included a second cable to the controller but it does not work as good as the original,simply my controller stops working the picture freezes.Where can I buy the original cable or buy one that fast is better than this.I hope that you understand story please help me.Sorry for English;)

The cable is a standard USB A-B cable; there is no "special" cable required. If the USB cable you're using isn't working properly, try another one. You can get them almost anywhere for less than $5.
I bought a new cable, but it happens the same after some time ddj ergo stops working andthe screen freezes,I do not know what to do.
@Serif > Are you sure it is a USB 2.0 cable you are using?
It might not be the cable. Perhaps if you could provide a bit more information on what software you are running your DDJ-ERGO with, what version of software, which drivers and versions, and what operating system with perhaps a couple specs such as your RAM and processor?
@Serif > I watched the video in your other thread; what is the length cable you used to replace it with? What kind of laptop are you using?

My first suggestion is going to be for you to try a shorter cable; 5m is the max cable length but you lose signal over distance and with the ERGO being bus-powered, that may be part of the problem.
@Pulse I tried again but it just same problem I don't know what to do
@Serif > Do you have access to another computer (either your own or a friend's) where you can test the unit? Have you tested another software such as Serato DJ Intro? ( It's free, available here.)
Got a new USB type B cord, plugged into my Ergo, but it doesnt recognize the device on my Traktor Scratch Pro 2, with the original cord brings up the device without problems..
@Carlos Lopez Try this put you usb cable in ergo now turn on your ergo and install DDJ-ERGO Firmware update - v1.20.I had the same problem,and I resolved problem
