DDj-Ergo No sound when connected to Amplifier

Hi.

I'm a bit confused, I just bought DDj - Ergo. I've been setting it up as shown in the PDF manual.

I've connected the Ergo to the laptop with the USB cable. Then connected the Ergo to my Amplifier by the Master out 2 (Ergo) to the AUX in on the Amplifier.

In the Setup (Virtual DJ)  the Output i set to Headphones - master 1+2 and Headphones 3+4.

In soundcard i selected the ASIO Driver.

I've tried other settings but no luck.

I have no problem connecting other  components to my AUX on the Amp and working.

Please help

Anders

@Anders > With a track playing, ensure the channel fader is up for that deck, the crossfader is to the side of  the channel which is playing, and that the master volume knob is turned up.

Hey Pulse

I've tried that to.

I'm a bit worried about the soundcard setting in my laptop.....but when the ERGO is connected by the Line out Phono terminals

and the sound setup settings is like i described, shouldn't it play regardless on what my pc is doing Only connected with USB cable

hi, i myself bought the ddj ergo and seem to run into a sound issue. i have tried what is previously mentioned and a few days ago it worked but not today. nothing changed in my usb usage and or have not changed any windows sound options. i have got it hooked up via the master out 2 to my logitech 5.1 surround speaker setup which has a lil powered box which acts like an amp. so like i said it worked a few days but not today. is there anything i could try or any questions you could ask me so i could get this fix'd and working everytime?

Hey I just bought a DDJ ergo. have set up the driver and installed virtual dj le correctly. I have read a few forums and my sound settings are set  up correct.= INPUT:none    OUTPUT :headphones /master 1&2 / Hphones 3&4 / Soundcard : ASIO driver with ultra latency (ticked) . I seem to be only getting sound output through the headphone jack on the ergo . no output from the master 1 or 2. I have a stereo plugged into the output of the ergo. the stereo works fine!!! need help

**I have tried playing with the cue/master mix knob and the VOL knob but it only seems to alter the head phone output

Hi Pulse. I have a similar problem. I've set my ERGO into traktor 2 and set it up exactly how it says in the instructions. I load a track into deck A and press play but not sound comes out my speakers. I was thinking it was my soundcard but now i get the feeling i have to buy some cables to plug into my 5.1 logitechs speakers? I assumed that with it being "Plug and Play" that i'd be able to use the controller with no extra cables or is that only if you use it with a laptop? Cheers

Hey Pulse,

You seem to be the expert so I have a quick question. I do not understand why my speakers are not coming up under my output setting. I am getting no sound from my ergo. I am using 2x Alesis M1 studio moniters that are split into a headphone jack. I then have a head phone jack split into an aux which is connected into my ergo. My master volumes are up in the top right corner and in the back. Please! I have been working on this for weeks and I cannot find a solution!!! should I run off of a different driver instead? I have ASIO4ALL as well. Here is some screen shots of what my setup is looking like. Please help me!
