Make sure that you've got the soundcard set to Pioneer DDJ ASIO, NOT the WASAPI driver. You'll find the Output Monitor can be set to PHONES L and R, the Output Master is set to MASTER L and R. See screenshots:

Hello;
I recently purchased the above controller and, although I always used traktor with the PC without having problems with this controller can not in any way to have the headphone monitoring. As soundcard I naturally set the controller (pioneer ddj-t1) and then use the internal mixer option.
I then set the two channels 1 and 2 for the master output, but then I go to set the monitor output and can not find any available channel ...
In short, setting the controller card gives me only 2 channels of output so I can not set the monitor output.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

I am having this same issue with my set up. The advice above to choose ASIO over WAPASI driver seems well and good, but what happens if that is not an option. ? Pioneer DDJ-T1 is in the audio set up window now - but output routing choices are only Line 0-1-2-3, Pioneer DDJ-T1 WAPASI is another choice. This does not allow for me to choose headphones as an output monitor. I am at loss as to what to do. Please advise.
OK...i solved the ASIO problem (Pioneer has a download for this driver).
SO, now i have selected DDJ-T1 (ASIO) in the audio set up, selected the phones 3 / 4 for monitor output routing -- but still no audio out of my headphones. I am out of ideas on how to proceed. any help from the forum would be graciously appreciated.
