I got it sorted. It was my HI-FI settings. For some reason I had to have my HI-FI on Tape and not Line In for sound. I still miss the pitch bend like my CMX-3000 used to have / be like. Shame, apart from that I like the Ergo system.
Hi, I have just today bought myself the Dj Ergo Pioneer item. I love the way it works and looks but I am stuck on a few things. I have a HI-FI wired up to the Ergo, but I can't get no sound to come from the HI-FI speakers. I can get the sound to come from the PC speakers when I mess around with the settings, but not from my HI-FI. I have the lead coming from my Dj Ergo to my HI-FI input section on the rear of the HI-FI. I have gone through the video you have done with the windows setup but no luck. Thanks for any info. Mark

@Mark > Do you mean the pitch-bend buttons? I understand some users moving from other gear will miss them, but the CDJ line has never featured them and DJs do just fine -- I'm sure you will too after a bit of practice. :)
Yes, I used to love the buttons for catching my mixes up and slowing my mix down while trying to get my beats perfect. I will have to get used to the jog wheel now, thats cool. I have not been mixing for a few years now since I sold my CMX-3000 Pioneers. I am a little behind on my mixing and I need to get back into shape :). I have a few questions I am stuck on.
What does the vinyl button do? Do I need to have it switched on while I am mixing?
What is the Keylock button for?
I know I should have probably read the manual, but I took it right out the box and onto my pc without reading any instructions. I have seen some deejays mixing with the Ergo on Youtube. Some deejays have both the lights on that I am on about, and some have both the lights switched off. Also it's a shame when recording a mix it does not save it in MP3 format. The wave files are huge compared to MP3. Thanks for the info. Mark
The Vinyl button simply toggles the sensitivity of the jog wheel top to either be responsive as a scratching tool or simply for pitch bending. It's advisable that if you aren't scratching, you put the player into CDJ mode (vinyl off) so you don't accidentally hit the jog and make it scratch.
The Keylock is the same as Master Tempo; it locks the key so you don't hear warble when pitch bending with the jog or chipmunking when you take the pitch up on the slider.
