[SOLVED] DDJ-ERGO Virtual DJ Pro mapping needed

Hi there, yesterday received my DDJ-ERGO controller to replace my Hercules RMX controller. As I 'm already using Virtual DJ Pro 7 for quite some time I only installed the DDJ-ERGO driver software and expected to select the DDJ-ERGO mapper in the VDJ settings.......unfortunetely not. No DDJ-ERGO controller listed. Then I installed Virtual DJ LE in a seperate folder and started Virtual DJ LE. The DDJ-ERGO skin is set by default and the controller is automatically recognized and works well. No problems. Now the problem is that I want to use Virtual DJ Pro with the DDJ-ERGO but can't find the mapping (xml) file anywhere. I have seen many similar postings about this problem in other forums without a good resolution. @Pioneer: can you please provide the Virtual DJ mapping for the DDJ-ERGO in this forum. At the same page where you can download the Traktor mappings and software updates. Regards, Jan

@Jan > Those files are not available direct, but if you already have 7.0.5b (or newer) installed, you may simply need to re-download and re-install it to gain full support for the hardware.

You actually have to own the latest version of Virtual DJ, not have the keygen/patched version of Virtual DJ which won't work properly.

On the Torrent downloaded patched version of Virtual DJ the Jog-Wheel functions are reversed and the CD-Mode function does not engage both on the controller and within the Virtual DJ options panel(CD-Mode Jpeg), so your always in stuck in Vinyl-mode regardless of what you do. If you're fluent at VDJ script the Jog Wheel issue and CD-modes functionality can easily be mapped to function properly, though it would be easier just to buy a licensed Virtual DJ.

Once you've purchased the latest Virtual DJ, you just update it for access to the latest mappings allowing the DDJ-Ergo to work perfectly on Virtual DJ.

The CDJ-Mode function is actually a plugin by TexZX that enables the CDJ function to work the same as Pioneer CDJ's. I'd modified my CDJ functionality to work using a dial so as to emulate the CDJ Nexus decks Beat Grid when adjusting the Cue using CD Modes stuttering Cue.

See my Youtube video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwW4fUw5DEQ

So you just buy Virtual DJ then update it for all patches and plugins, also the Mappings are all perfect too.
