DDJ-T1 Recording problem

Hello,

I just bought a DDJ-T1 and I have a recording problem: The record level is very low (about 35% of the actual sound level) and the BPM of the recorded mix is completely off (and completely random).

I have set the mixer recorder's source to internal and disabled the mixer's headroom setting. The gain of the recorder is in the middle and if I yank it up, the EQs volume are capping (going into the red). The master volume gain is also in the middle and I can't change it for the same reason.

Does anybody have any advice to solve this problem please?

You should have the levels of each channel peaking near the top, likewise for the master.  Then you should adjust the master levels and you'll find it to be closer to 0dB recording levels.  It will always be lower because you never want to clip it -- you can boost it using any wave editing software.
