DDJ-T1 and a Rode mic

Hi!

I'm thinking of getting  DDJ-T1. Since I'm doing a radio show, I also need to use a mic. I use a Rode Procaster mic, which has a XLR connection. I bet with an adapter I can connect it to DDJ-T1. But can I use it with great results? For example, does Traktor/DDJ-T1 offer ducking or talk-over functions?

Also, Mic input is probably routed to one of the decks?

thanks!

@Kuldar > In terms of controlling mic levels, the DDJ-T1 does not have a talk over function but you can adjust the output level. You will need an XLR to TRS adaptor.

I would assume with a radio station setup, you would connect the controller to one channel on the station mixer and use whatever mic input is also on the station mixer.
