[CLOSED] Pioneer DDJ S1 no lights after firmware install

My Pioneer DDJ S1 is Death

 

no lights

no connection to the mac Os

no respond

nothing

 

Please help me

Hi ! I have a pioneer ddj-s1 and this morning I installed serato dj the latest version and the latest firmware as well.But after I tried to apply the latest firmware my pioneer ddj-s1 didn't turn on no more,it is dead.Anyone did experience a trouble like this after firmware update?Please help!

has anyone been helped? got a notification from serato to update firmware on ddj s1 to be able to use it with their new "dj" software so i downloaded the firmware and tried to open up itch and the "dj" software from serato and my controller still wont come on. I have a show tonight at 6 what should i do?

Hey bro,

This happened because the update was unsuccessful.

Try to connect the DDJ with LOOP IN button pressed. If not resolved, proceed as follows:

- Install ITCH and connect the controller with the software opened. See if it starts to rewrite the firmware with original (active internet connection).

- If none of that works, you must take the device to the nearest Pioneer authorized so they rewrite the firmware again.

they dudnt told me.

but i think i have to get a new controller if pionner cant fix it.

It's possible you had a problem with the firmware update, which damaged or corrupted the ROM. The service shop is likely waiting for a replacement part to be delivered.
