DDJ SX Mixer not working + No outputs

I have an issue where the unit is connecting ok, he play/cue buttons work, however....

when a song is stopped, the platter will move the track slightly if touched & speed up/speed down when playing - there is no audio output. All gains up on serato,  same for hardware trims/master up.... STILL no audio out on mixer, mixer will not act as stand alone mixer either.

EQ lights do not function, and cue to listen will not light up.

I have tried...

New usb port and cables

Different Macbook without mavericks

different power adapter

utility mode, reset + midi mode off

factory reset

and my most favourite, hitting my head against a hard wall, which felt effective at first....

Really need some help, i was suppose to be on our local fm radio tonight and i've had to cancel, and have a gigs from friday onwards. Getting a bit panicky!!! :-S
