Replacement WeGO3 iOS (Lightning) cable

I managed to inadvertently destroy mine so now need a replacement. Bit worried about the price judging by a previous post but needs must.

The Pio spare parts website isn't exactly helpful with identifying what is the correct part so want to make sure I get the right number.

Many thanks.

I believe you're looking for the DDE1145, but unfortunately t he WeGO parts page only lists the parts, there's no photos. The reason I expect it's that part is because of the cost -- the $21 cord is likely the USB cable (A->B). If you contact Pioneer Parts and ask if they can provide further detail that would be your best bet.

Thank you for that.  Pioneer UK confirmed that is the correct part.

Note to anyone with a WeGO3 reading this...treasure the iOS cable - it's a $100 part to replace, I'm being quoted £115 (+del) in the UK.

May as well buy a WeCai30 with a Apple 30 pin to Lightning converter.   Will this still charge the iPad/Phone?

At the end of the day, it's a 30cm cable.   Pioneer - you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yes - I confirmed that this is the correct cable as well. Unfortunately as it is a proprietary cable, they do come at a cost (but even I'll admit that Pioneer's replacement cables have always been a bit pricey).

I don't believe the WeCAI30 is compatible with the WeGO3, nor does it charge the iOS device.

Are you sure, Pioneer DJ website claims it is exclusively used for connecting to the WeGO3?

Ahhhh - sorry, the WeCAi30 IS compatible, in fact it's exclusively compatible with the WeGO3. The WeCAi (non-30 model) is not; it is for the WeGO and ERGO only.

And yes, that model would indeed charge your iOS device. Sorry for the confusion! I forgot there was a 30-pin accessory cable available as well. ;)

Cool, that may well have saved me a ton of money!

WeCai30 £25

WeCaiLightning £115

I'm sure it has something to do as well with the cost for being Apple-certified... those lightning cables (authentic ones even from 3rd-party) are $$.

You could go with the 30-to-lightning adapter and it would work no problem. I do that with my WeCAi for my iPad Mini on my WeGO 1st gen.

Well I have one on order so fingers-crossed it works.  Thanks for your help.

When's the XDJ-RZ being released?

lol - Is that speculation based on the DDJ-SX / DDJ-SZ past that an XDJ-RX would have an XDJ-RZ "big brother"?

I have no idea if an RZ is even on the books, but as we always say here on the forums, Pioneer is always working on "the next thing," whatever it is. Unfortunately we can't discuss unreleased products, whether they're never coming or days from launch. I hope you understand!

lol - well, assuming there is demand for one, I would hope they follow convention and name it the same way if they make it. ;)

I should point out that Pioneer does not officially support the use of the 30-pin-to-lightning adapter when using the WeCAi30 with the WeGO3. You are welcome to use this combination however Pioneer can't guarantee the performance of the controller with the adapter cable used.

Why would they when they can rip me off with a cable costing five times as much that does exactly the same thing and probably costs them the same to manufacture - 30-pin or Lightning, they still have to be Apple certified.

Nor, no doubt, would they recommend using the normal USB cable with an Apple camera connection kit which apart from not charging works fine!

Because they offer both cables, they recommend using them direct. As they have not tested the use of the 30-pin-to-lightning adapter, they can't guarantee the performance or function of the cable since it's not their product.

Hey guys,

So I need the DDE1145 cord too but I don't have a first born to give Pioneer.  Have you guys had any issues using a WEGO3 with the WeCAi30 cable with Lightning cable adapter??????

Thanks!

Works perfectly.  In fact, if you have the white version and a white iPad it's arguably better as the 30-pin to Lightning cable is white too.

Now I'm here because I just ruined my cable last weekend during a gig :(

Peasey, now that I read your comments.. do you really recommend using the wecai30 with the lightning adapter?

Even in the Wego3 pioneer website, they don't offer the same cable I am looking for :@

I went to guitarcenter yesterday hoping they can help but they didn't know anything about it

I hope you can read this message as soon as possible.

Best regards from  Mexico

Yes, I 100% recommend it.  It's still how I connect my iPad now and it works flawlessly.

We have the same problem. I can't play my Wego3 because I lost my lightning cable from a gig. Is it available here in the Philippines?
