[SOLVED] DDJ-SX2 power problem

Which LEDs illuminate when the unit does power-on? Do they go dark after a few seconds? Is the controller recognized by the computer at any time?

All LED's and the sound was off, but serato responding when i push the controler buttons. Now when i turn it on it work's for a few seconds like in servis mode.

So it controls the software, but with no LED illumination and no audio output, is that correct?

It's hard to say that it's control the software when controler works for a few seconds only. ://////

That's what I'm asking -- even if the illumination stops, is the computer still receiving control signal from the unit? If you press a button, does the software respond, or does the software even see the hardware as connected? You would know if the software all of a sudden reverts to 1 player mode.

At the begining software works after the led's was off, but now controler works only in service mode (led's flash for few seconds). 

The engineers recommend that you send the unit to Pioneer for servicing. You can locate international support contacts on this page.

Another consideration is if the unit is within the store's return policy, you may consider taking it back to them for an exchange.

My power problem continues with my controller (DDJ SX 2).I place question in the forum and Pioneer is placing solved beside my post and it is NOT solved.I need someone to contact me and tell me what is going on.After playing for about 2-3 hours controller restarts in the middle of my gig.This is making me look stupid.This has happined every time I use it for the past two weeks.Come on Pioneer please resolve my problem.

Anybody fix it?i need help.my power adaptor working but ddj is not,what i have to do?

Every controller I bought had issues when I call in people keep taking my info and say someone will get back to me and it never happens.Decided to use a different brand.Extremely poor customer service.

I'm having a similar issue as the original post. It used to turn on and work like normal but lights not responding. Now it doesn't turn on at all. Please advice.

well I don't know where to find a new adaptor so I just ordered one on amazon. :( I don't know if that's good or not or if it can cause more damage. Supposedly it's made exactly for this model of Pioneer controller.

Update: I ordered a new adopter from Amazon and it took a week but it arrived and it worked perfectly. Thank you everyone for your contributions and information... saved me $160 evaluation. LOL.
