[SOLVED] Album Artwork doesn't Match up with Tracks

Iv'e noticed that when I'm playing on CDJ 2000s that the album artwork doesn't match up with the correct tracks. The artwork that is displayed is usually a different track in the same playlist. This is a huge problem for me because I am a very visual person and usually recognize that track I want to play from it's album cover. When I'm searching for a song I find it fastest by looking at the artwork. This problem has led me to play the same song twice in a set on at least two occasions.

Is there anyway to fix this problem? I usually play using SD cards. I load all of my songs onto the SD cards using Rekordbox. Some (very few) of the tracks in my library don't have any artwork associated with the song. Could this be the problem? It seems like there could be one or two tracks that don't have artwork and the CDJ jumbled everything up.

Pulse, No change. I have just added some new tracks and my artwork is screwed on a few old tracks as usual. I will email what you need.

Following up again to see if the latest versions of rekordbox exhibit the same problem you have been experiencing. Thanks again.

Hi all

I have the same problem. I have RB 2.03 and FW 1.10.

I will check it tomorrow...I will copy the playlist and export it again on the usb stick...if the problem still exists, I will let you know.

I no longer use rekordbox or cdj's. I now use ddj-sx and serato and I can tell you, I do not miss them or the problems at all.

I still load my music onto a hard drive with rekordbox for use with cdj2000's incase I need them, but I've not touched a set since I bought the ddj. So I've not checked the art etc as I'm not bothered.

I will wait until they are a better priced, quality product and I might buy another set. I no longer use cds any more. But with all the problems they have, nobody ever seems happy with them or pioneer's customer service. Shame.

I also have not had to look at any forums for help since I've owned my serato/ddj. Maybe this is a good product combination.

So I tested today to delete the playlist from the usb stick and copied the playlist again on the stick...same problem...wrong cover art

After that,  I deleted the playlist in Recordbox and formatted the usb stick....created the playlist again in RB, exported the playlist on the stick ...success...

I dont know why the problem happened, but this could be very confusing in a club when you take orientation on the cover art...
