Playing cue/ loops points on CDJ 900

Hi folks, My CDJ 900 arrived last night - love it! Quick question though, may just be me being thick or it may not be possibe? Ive set my memory cues on my tracks in rekordbox and transferred them onto USB - all load up fine on the CDJ. But, i have noticed that if you skip forward to the next cue point on your track, it stops playing and you have to hit start again? Is there a way of keeping the play going so it does not stop everytime? Thanks Dave-B

The CDJ 900 doesn't support hot cues as far as I know. If there is a way to implement them I'd love to know as I've got them too.

@David > No, those are memory cues and cannot be used as hot cues.

use them in HID mode with TRAKTOR, you can click anywhere and TRAKTOR warrants gapless playback synced

Thanks to all for the advice.  I had tried them out previously on Traktor and was exceptionally happy with them but wanted to use it as a stand alone CDJ.  At the moment i run vinyl timecodes with Traktor so was wanting to get the full use of it as a standalone and not just an HID controller as it would be a waste of £1000 I feel.

It's a pity I couldn't switch from CDJ mode and to HID mode while keeping the play going from my CD or USB.

Thanks

Dave

Hey Dave,

I recently got some 900's as well, and I discovered this same issue the other night.

While I know the 900 doesn't do Hot Cues, I figured this simply meant that it can't save multiple cue points *on the fly,* but that it would be able to engage them if pre-setup in Rekordbox.

Bummer.
