And i have looked at transformers, but i heard these are really bad for the units, and wear them out over time.

[SOLVED] CDJ2000 (Moved from USA to Europe) Voltage Suggestions anyone
Hello, i recently moved from the United States to Europe. I have read some articles online from other users who have done this too. My pioneers (2x CDJ2000 + 1x DJM800) are all three 120V. Obviously voltage here in Europe is 220V. Does anyone have suggestions as to what to do (or what works without losing or burning out my dj equipment). Like i said, i know there are more people in this situation, so would really like to hear from you!!

@Sebastiaan > You will need a step down transformer (220v to 120v) for your equipment. You can pick them up pretty cheap at your local hardware. No, they're aren't 'bad' for your units.

Hi guys..
I have almost the same question but with a Pionner Djm 850 + two Cdj-2000.
I did the same two years ago and my shop told me that i just needed to swap out the cables to two pin and they will work just fine in Europe.
I did and they are still working great.
Will they work different with a transformer?
(it says only 120V 60hz on the back on all three)
Also i just bought a 120V Pioneer Rmx 1000 from the Usa and he also told me to just change the adapter/cable to two pin and it will work.
Is that possible on this also or do i need a transformer on this one?

@Ronny > You need to use a transformer for ANY electronic equipment that is rated at one particular voltage but is to be used in an area of different voltage.
