Yes, just saw a video that showed but thanks for the reply.
What is your honest opinion on this unit?
Would I be able to set everything in rekordbox to use on this and then use the rekordbox settings on my cdj 2000 nexus?
Can I play directly from my laptop running rekordbox?
Is the sync tight?
I can't always get to use my cdj 2000 nexus through the week and was looking for something I could use in another room in the house.
If all my above questions are yes then was thinking I could use this unit to plan my sets.
Well I had my xdj aero for about 4 months and I really love it,never will give it up. This unit is amazing you have the option to use 4 thing (not at the sametime) to play tracks from. And it's small so u don't have to carry big on small party and it great for the house less space. As for rekordbox u can use your USB or hd for both xdj aero and the nexus. But the only different is the u can't store hot cue on the xdj aero so if u try to do it threw rekordbox box it won't show on the xdj aero only for the cdj nexus. But I think they are working on it for the xdj aero. In my honest opinion is this unit good YES! It has a lot of good potential,it remind me of my old cdj 400&djm 400 set but better. I never had any big issue with it just small little one but it was fix with the firmware but its a really solid unit. Hope that helps. Oh as for using it with your laptop you can but I think there is a little issue with that and for sync is tight BUT! Your bit grid has to be on point by using the metronome once u doing that its really good. But I don't really use it am kind of old school so. Lol but I use it at time when am lazy
the only issue I have with this unit is that it's not advertise well. Not a lot of people really know about this unit. I been in 3 store and had to teach the sale man how to use the xdj aero literally. And by me doing that I sold 2 units sad part is that am not a salesman. :)
Sounds good but it does seem a little over priced for what it is.
I'm not sure this is because of the wireless function (which I have no interest in).
I have just seen that the Pioneer DDJ-SX is around the same price and looks very good quality for the same money.
The main reason I was looking at the Aero is because of it using rekordbox but I'm not sure this justifies the price.
Tbh I just want something that I can use in other rooms in the house when I can't use my nexus setup.
I might have a look at the DDJ-SX.
