Hi Guys,
Could your technical team please publish the midi specification for the XDJ-RX. It will greatly aid in mapping the unit for Traktor etc.
A mapping specification will show which midi channel and midi note or function each button / fader is assigned to and what values 0-127 for example.
I would usually expect a MSB/LSB Midi spec in the manual. So please could the technical team publish this information?

Has there been any movement on this issue?
I know other DJ software companies are interested in the Midi / HID In/Out spec.
I expect it would take more than a day to obtain the information... and I'm sure other companies are interested in the info! :)
This unit is probably a CPU, a midi controller attached and a few USB sockets all built into a plastic box.
The factory /engineers will have the midi spec to hand as that's all this unit essentially is: a computer with some embedded software and a midi controller.
Basically the XDJ-RX is a raspberry pie (sort of) running an embedded version of mixvibes (branded pioneer Rekordbox) and a midi controller all built into one box.
So the chances are that the midi spec is on someone's computer in a spreadsheet.
We need midi in and out spec. And also values for each note/control. Finally, info on how to make the time counts work is needed.
I'm told that the full MIDI map will be available later this month and the Traktor TSI sometime after that. The RX does not support MIDI-IN, only MIDI-OUT and as such, there is no support for LED illumination. Time or any other info can not be shown on the displays as that requires HID mode, which the RX does not support.
This unit is far from a "raspberry pie (sort of) running an embedded version of mixvibes," and while I'm sure the spec is somewhere on a spreadsheet, it will be presented in a friendly format when it's ready and available.
Sorry I don't have any other details at this time.
