XDJ-R1 - BPM Drifting?

Hi All,

I've been through loads of posts about the XDJ-R1 and I'm looking for an up to date review.

Have the problems been fixed with the BPM drifting?

I'm looking to buy one just to use at home and will mainly be using USB and CD to play tracks.

The BPM will be updated in realtime when using non-rekordbox analysed sources such as CD or USB (which hasn't been exported from rekordbox).

Is that what you meant?

I've read that the BPM reading of tracks changes all the time and doesnt show an accurate reading. Is this the case when reading in real time from a CD or does it working ok?

That's when using non-rekordbox sources such as a CD. If you use your computer to analyse the audio and create a beat grid, it will have an accurate and stable BPM on the display when played from a USB export device.

Hello,

I just purchased an xdj-r1 with firmware 1.13 and begun using Rekordbox 4.3 and as ive had to adjust the beatgrids on most of my songs the bpm/tempo changes when i play through on rekordbox as well when I use my controller.

This doesnt feel normal as ive used past cdj800's

Could the xdj-r1 not keep the bpm in whole numbers?
