[SOLVED] Playlist order RX/RB

In Rekordbox, select your USB on the left

On the right, in 'Sort' tab, make "date added" active

Eject USB,connect it to the RX

Now on the RX in Menu->Sort, you should have "Date Added" option

Just stumbled across this post but it partly answered a question for me. Not sure if I've been missing the obvious but I assumed in Rekordbox when you go to file | Preferences any settings you made there i.e. a category to display next to track title or an addition to the sort list would get transferred to USB but I guess it doesn't. From your note above you select the USB key and set it here which does work. My question, why is there 2 sets of seemingly the same settings and is there a definitive list of what does/doesn't work with XDJ RX? i.e. even though the above works, the items in My Settings don't and it shows things like Load Lock which isn't supported yet?

P.S. Loving the product now I've had it for a few months, very pleased and for info been using the USB 3.0 Samsung Mini T1 SSD external drives which seem to work very well with the XDJ-RX and fast too!.

@Darrell > The settings are maintained separately for both devices and rekordbox (when connected over the LINK).

The Settings preferences are not loaded by the RX.

Just to confirm are General, Category, Sort, Column and Color all valid when using method above? i.e. the tabs that come up when selecting a USB Key vs File | Preferences and just the 'My Settings' bit is ignored by XDJ-RX? The odd thing is in yhour master preferences you tell Rekordbox what device you are exporting to so I would have assumed it would not display the tab on that USB key as it was created specifically for the XDJ??

Not having an RX on hand currently I can't confirm the settings (there may be some which are loaded, but if I recall, the entire My Settings is not called by the RX).

All of the available category and sort options should work with the RX.
