XDJ-RX will not load music from my laptop.

Hi!

I'm having an issue with the XDJ-RX and I hope that you can help.

My issue is a bit similar to this gent:

http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/79702065--SOLVED-Problems-connecting-the-XDJ-RX-to-my-Laptop

Basically, I'm running a laptop OSX 10.10.3 with the latest recordbox software. The laptop recognizes the RX via the link and also as a usb sound-card.

The problem arises when i try to load tracks into the DJ unit. You initially see the Waveform but quickly turns into a loading message and then finally displays the following error: E-8306 NO FILE. This happens if I try to load the track via the DJ unit or when I drag and drop on the computer through the Pioneer Link.

The files are there and if I export a playlist to a  device (USB stick) and then place it in the XDJ unit, it plays back the files without a problem.

I disabled my firewall, and WI-FI off too and still no change.

Hope that someone can help.

Thanks

I hope that you can help.

Edward

Great!

Here we go. I've had this problem form the beginning so it would be nice to solve it.

Mac Pro. 2.2 GHz i7 (2011) 16 GB RAM- OSX 10.5.5

Latest: Software, drivers and firmware - yes

Installation all seems fine.

Tried to do it with the firewall turned off. Allowed the various packages access through the firewall also after turning it back on.

Rekordbox works fine with HD or USB sticks over the USB ports.

The problem: Mac over LAN and with the link activated begins to load the track (you see the waveform) and then  the Waveform disappears and then it says on the XDJ- RX ; E-8306: NO FILE

Have tried everything above, as well as, adding an Ethernet router in between and turning off the WI-FI on the laptop, etc..

Hope you can help and merry Christmas
