DDJ-WeGo/DJ Intro - Tempo slider/volume problems

|

|

I've got a DDJ-WeGO controller (first model, not 2). I'm using it with a Mac Book Pro running OS 10.7.5.

I've just downloaded and installed Serato Intro 1.2.0, the latest version, and I've downloaded and installed the latest firmware.

When I play a song on the right deck I cannot control the tempo with the tempo slider. It seems to be disabled or something. Also, on the left deck, the tempo slider does change the speed of songs, however (and quite annoyingly) it also effects the songs' volume. When the left deck slider is at the slowest tempo (at the minus sign) I can't hear the song at all. If I slide the tempo slider to about a hash mark below the plus sign I start to hear the song and it gets progressively louder as I slide to the plus sign.

Up and down channel faders on both decks work, however. For instance, on the left side, if I keep the tempo slider at a point where I can hear the song I can adjust the volume with the left channel fader.

One other thing ... I can scratch and control songs with the left deck jog wheel but not with the right.

How do I fix these problems so I can control volume properly with channel faders alone and tempo with sliders?

Help!

1) Are you using a supported platform? The original poster says he's using OS 10.7, which is not supported by Serato DJ Intro (per their downloads page):

2) Is the firmware on the unit v1.07 or newer? Support for Serato DJ / Intro was added as of version 1.07. The current firmware is v1.09. You can download the update or check it here.
