DDJ-RX "Vinyl Mode"

Anyone know if you can set some sort of indicator for the "Vinyl Mode"?
This is really iritating as you cant tell if you are in vinyl mode when playing the deck, its a 50/50 gamble the track just stops when touching the platter!
Cant see this setting in the "Utilities Mode", I would be shocked if you cant set something as an indicator for this mode!

The comment made by @Krotos is correct; there is an indicator on the display of the deck within rekordbox to show the status of the platter. See the images below for reference...

@lennonpearson. I think he's talking about the RX not the RZ. The vinyl badge in the center of the jog dial is RZ only.

I will check this tonight when I get home, sadly if this is a missing feature then my RX will be going back as not fit for purpose, this feature is a requirment for me.

@Krotos D Beatz I bought mine last week, and it works ridiculously well, even in Vinyl mode. I've just checked the manual (which you have to obtain from the Pioneer DJ website. If you're interested in a product, it's a good idea to have a good skim through the manual before you buy it), you will notice above the SYNC button on the bottom left of the deck sections there's a SHIFT button. Hold that button down, then press SLIP button, just to the top right of the Jog Wheels. That will switch Vinyl mode on or off depending on your preference.
Hope this helps, I do think it needs to be better signposted on the product like it is on the RZ.

I know how to turn it off and on and I have read the manual!
Dosnt change the fact that when on or off there is no indicator!
When playing out I do not want to guess if the mode is on or off, I want an indicator to show me if on or off, its a simple requirment and if not present then its a serious oversight from Pioneer.
If it does not have an indicator then its not fit for purpose and I will be returning it.

Spoken to Pioneer EU Support, they have confirmed that there isnt a direct indicator on the RX model.
There is an indicator (a blue dot) on the rekordbox dj platters.
Only other way is to press and hold shift and check if the red LED is lit on the "Slip/Vinyl" button.

I was also looking for this function in the controller and I did not find it, so I came to the forum to try to find out. Disappointing ... was it going to make so much financial difference for Pioneer, put this display on? I do not think so, but it sure is a lot of fun for us DJs.

Is there not a way, a command to enable this option, to appear on the controller display?

@Vicka > The controller REQUIRES a computer to work; presumably it will be used with rekordbox, and the display is on the screen as to which mode you're in. What's the problem with that?

@Pulse> It's okay to appear on the computer screen. The problem, is not appear in the controller, since we have to look away to the monitor without need. Since the controller is native to the Rekordbox DJ, it should light up on the controller display, like many other functions.
The reason for my comment is simply because it happened to me. By the time I had to scratch in an emergency, I was looking at the controller, and I did not know if the vinyl mode was turned on or not. There are situations that happen in fractions of seconds and if you turn on "vinyl mode" on the DDJ-RX display, I would not have wasted any time.
Another occasion was that the "vinyl mode" was activated and I did not see it. The moment I needed to use the band, my finger pressed against the plate and I do not have to say what happened in the mix, right? LOL
I keep saying that if the "vinyl mode" appeared on the DDJ-RX's display, it would certainly make our life a lot easier.

Where do you look to load a song? Find out how much time has elapsed?

At the screen.

You'll get used to it.
