Waveform and BPM don't display

I just imported 20 new tracks straight from beatport, as I always have. However, the tracks don't display the full waveform in the browser, and the BPM is shown as 0.00 when a track is opened/selected, even when it's analyzed and shown in the browser list. It also doesn't show the preview waveform when in playlist view. I thought it may be 3.3.0, so I upgraded to 4.0.8, and it still doesn't work. Previously analyzed tracks still have the waveform and the BPM, but when I re-analyze them in 4.0.8, they disappear too. Also, when I re-analyze a track that is currently selected, the waveform shows up at the top, but the BPM doesn't. As soon as i start the track, it disappears again.

Please help! I need this sorted out ASAP!

(Preferably without wiping my database)

Something I'd like you to try -- open one of the files with any application OTHER than rekordbox and remove the album artwork before importing it to rekordbox. You can save the artwork file somewhere first.

Next, import the file to rekordbox and allow it to analyse.

See if the issues still occur.

i deleted a track from rekordbox. i then opened it in itunes, and deleted the artwork file. i then re-imported it, and it still has the same issue.

Could you please post one of the problematic files to a share so I can test it here?

i use a key-analyzing software called Mixed in Key, and these tracks were analyzed prior to importing. however i have been using this program for a number of years and have never had a problem with it before. in addition, i tried importing tracks that haven't been analyzed by the program, and they have the same problem.

I've used MiK for years and never had problems with those tracks either. I'll take a look at that track on my end and if I have a similar problem I'll pass it along to our rekordbox team to investigate further.

I tried importing it to 4.1.0 and it simply didn't analyse!? I ran it through a couple of different MP3 scan/repair tools and it showed no errors, so I'm going to escalate this to our software team.

@Mitchell > Thanks -- the engineers had no problems on their end, could you possibly send over two or three more files which are having problems?
