DDJ SX2 channel 1 fader

I just got the ddj sx2 and love the versatility of it but when I go to close my channel one fader after playing a song on it the fader acts as if its still open. I can have the channel 1 fader(up fader) completely closed and it still acts as if it were completely open and volume is being played. Has anyone else had this issue?

What software are you using with the SX2?

I updated all the firmware so everything is new

No, not firmware, software. Virtual DJ, Serato, Traktor, djay ... need that and the version number of that software please.

Does the same thing happen if you connect an external device into the line input on CH1?

You don't have a phone or laptop or anything with a headphone output that you might use an 1/8"-to-RCA to test?
