xdj1000 - beat jump - needle search - search button

had first play today after ditching traktor, almost perfect!

1. beat jump needs 4 8 and 16 beat jumps not 1 2 and 4 beat jumps, 1 and 2 steps are just a waste screen real estate i just cant see anybody would ever use them or have reason to use them. I mean you want to jump 1 beat back or 1 beat forward?? really??

2. Needle search needs to be quantized so it can be used in the mix especially if step one cannot be implemented

2a. is it possible to use needle search without having to hold down the platter first?

1. the physical track search button should be quantized once quantize is activated on the touch screen, why would it not be quantized???? that would make so much sense and would be a great and more convinient beat jump than on the touch screen.

Can you tell im a beat jump pro? lol! - its just a great way of cutting down 9minute tunes on the fly during a mix live without the audience knowing (if quantized).

traktors beat jump is all that NI have over Pioneer at the moment as far as i can see and im glad i made the switch back to pioneers xdj1000.
