Hello community and Officials
With this post, i don't want to offend anyone, please understand.
I know, there are a lot of posts about a Linux version of rekordbox, but why not starting a new one after 1+ years?
Normally the posts are commented from Officials (thank you) and posts will be closed and every time with same reason:
But why?
Today, with cross platform development it's possible, YEAH ;)
See Mixxx, OpenSource, Free and for ALL: https://mixxx.org/
They are able to and just do it...
C'mon Pioneer or even AlphaTheta... that can't be your plan..
My post has a big reason... and so i hope lot of you will follow it:
Why not getting help from community?
Why not let us help to build a Linux version?
... and don't comment like:
c'mon.. we are in 2024... we have a big amount of cracks over the world, they know hardware and how to develop correctly it's usage, see OBS Studio, Kdenlive, MythTV and a lot of similar apps...
really... link to a old Twitter post from 2019?
check the community, it's bigger then you wish!!!
there must be a plan, home work must be re-defined...
.. there are more official answers.. let's get forward.
Please... Officials, don't just link to existing posts and close this...
Many thanks for all for reading, following, sharing ;)
Have all a nice day, keep DJ'ing and with best regards

Hello Pioneer,
I did a quick google search to check if Rekordbox is compatible with Linux, as I'm looking at getting Pioneer CDJs. I'm an old school vinyl DJ who is finally making a transition to digital tunes. I run a Linux OS because Windows is a bag of shite and frankly, f**k Bill Gates.
I've been really suprised by how many posts on this forum asking about Linux have been fobbed off with 'the market isn't big enough' and 'we know because you can count the number of requests on this forum on 1 hand'.
It's this last comment 'we can count the requests' that has prompted me to bother making an account and then trawling back through the forum and to say, like all the others - Pioneer, you're wrong. And countless others, like me probably didn't have an account, and didn't bother to make one just to come back here in defence of the best OS available.
Pioneer, I've been using your gear since the 1990s. I'm disappointed. Please, don't let me down now. I may not be Carl Cox or Kissy Sellout, or play big clubs - but I make people dance at free parties in barns and warehouses.
Yours Truly

One big vote for this request. For me software for managing Device Library and Device Library Plus and exporting to USB drive will be enough. I'm tired of running virtual machine just to manage my music and export it to USB drive. I just want to make it easy to prepare on my main operation system where I'm doing all my other work. I would be nice to be able to not making these workarounds for that simple task.
I will continue this thread... Windows 11 started update restart during my set... For me Windows 11 is OS we cannot relay on it as a stable platform. My luck was that I have XZ and I had my USB stick on backpack and I was able to rescue the show. Windows 10 is not supported anymore and Windows 11 is not suitable for DJing. Imagine what will happen if I hadn't USB stick or I had controller like DDJ-1000 or FLX10.
Dear Pioneer/Alpha Theta, we requesting Linux support not without a reason. Not everyone wants to buy separated Macbook just for DJing and managing their library. Linux is trustworthy stable platform but you're still keeping Windows 11 version when it can break entire performance.
