Tip for fixing the NVIDIA OpenGL Driver Error Code 3 problem

Hi guys, new Rekordbox,DDJ-1000 user here.

Just a tip for anyone having the same problems I've spent hours finding a solution for lol.

When I received my DDJ-1000 yesterday and installed the driver/ Rekordbox , i fired it it up and it kept connecting and un-connecting.

The laptop would hang and after a minute or so the screen went black and then a dialog box with the " The NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and is unable to continue.NVIDIA OpenGL Driver Error Code 3"

After many hours head scratching, I have found a solution , which is as follows....

Right click on your desktop and open the NVIDIA control panel.

In the blue text on the left you select Manage 3d settings.

Select the global settings tab, then pull down the scroll box bellow, and select the 3D App - Visual Simulation option.

Click the apply button at the bottom right, and you are done.
