DJM-900NXS2 Cue Buttons (seemingly) Not working for Channels 2, 3, and 4

Am I doing something wrong?

When I press cue, above channel 1, the button lights up and I can hear it through the headphones.  This is not the case for channels 2, 3, and 4.  The cue button does not light up when pressed, and I hear nothing come in through the headphones for those channels.  Maybe I am doing something wrong? or is something wrong with the mixer?

Also, the Beat FX On/Off Button does not respond when I press it.  It's just always lit up blue.  I am trying ti put it into update mode to update the firmware, PS...

Are you using the mixer stand-alone or connected to the computer to mix software?

Do you have the channel gain turned up on those other channels?

Re: the beat FX button, have you selected a valid channel for it when trying to engage the FX?

I am using the mixer stand-alone.  Not connected to a computer.

By channel gain, do you mean the trim dials?  No, the trim dials are not turned all the way down, if that's what you are asking.

I am actually not trying to engage any F/X... I am just trying to turn it off, and the blue light does not turn off.  I only realized it was not working because I tried to update the firmware, and it does not go into update mode, although I have the mid and on/off buttons held down as I power it on.  The fact that the on/off button stays solid blue and does not turn off leads me to believe something is wrong.

If the trim knobs are all the way down, you won't hear anything coming into those channels; think of that as the valve that controls the audio signal level. Pressing the cue when there's nothing to hear will result in no sound.

The blue LED for the FX on/off is always solid unless an effect is engaged, at which point it will blink. If the LED is off, you've chosen a source where it can't be applied or you have engaged the S/R loop (top right). What channel was selected on the FX knob when you were having these issues?

Yes, I know that... Which is why I told you the trim dials are NOT turned all the way down.  Also, as I originally mentioned, the Cue button does NOT light up for channels 2, 3, or 4 whenever pressed, aside from there being no sound in the headphones for these channels when I press cue.

Regarding beat f/x.... Again, right now I am not worried about making effects. I just want to update the firmware on my mixer, but when I power on the mixer while holding down MID and On/OFF beat FX, it does not go into update mode.

Please read this post carefully before answering so we can avoid wasting time going back and forth.

Thank you.
